MusicYo has announced lower prices on the following USA built guitars:

GR-4R - now $799.99 (was $999.99)
GM-4S - now $1149.99 (was $1299.99)
GM-7SA - now $1299.99 (was $1649.99)

This is not a sale, but a permanent price reduction based on continuing demand and production efficiencies. That's anywhere from a $150-$350 savings! Works out to over a 20% price drop on the GM7SA. They've built up enough inventory and have assembled enough USA instruments to accurately analyze their cost structure and pass some more savings along. Again these are not short term/sale prices - the intention is to keep them here for the near future. If you've been wanting a graphite neck 'berger but couldn't afford it, well that reality could be a bit closer now.

You may have noticed there are no TransTrem equipped models on the list. They are totally out of TT's. This was expected and has been mentioned iin previous updates. There's still no ETA on replacements and might not be for a several months. But we've confirmed they've got plenty of S-Trems in stock to build out more GM-S's (both standard & Newburgh) if they sell through more quickly (as is expected). Even if/when they do get new TT's in, there's been no discussion if those will see similar price drops.

While the upcoming Newburgh GM's will only have S-Trems in a two humbucking config, they'll have equivalent lower prices as well. Pricing for the new wood bodied GL's is still TBA. At this point pricing for the re-issued XQ basses will likely be the same as before: $1299.99 for a 4 string standard, $1399.99 for a 4 string w/ DB, $1499.99 for a 5 string.

Update on new production. Looks like October will be a busy month.

XQ's -> There was going to be some anticipated delays on the HAZ Labs boards. Seems they've figured out a way to deliver some early, and the factory will be ordering bodies and start building out soon. Expected to show up mid to late October.

GMs -> Several of these are finished, but they'll be assembling out a few more. Black w/ white binding and white w/ black binding are the only two choices for now. I think several of the first ones will have TransTrems, but with those running out expect only S-Trems after that.

WOOD BODIED GL's -> These too will be appearing in October. Still working on a moniker, though it's likely it'll be some variation on the 'L' name. Two humbucking models in black and white will be offered first. Will only feature S-Trems for the foreseable future.

Per the Yahoo! group's suggestion, MusicYo: has updated their color chart:

Those translucent USA colors sure look sweet! Though the Terada guitar bodies are pictured, the new USA built XQ bodies will have the same hues.
